As soon as I heard my cousin, Kristine (Teen for short) was pregnant for the first time, I knew I had to take her maternity photos! Teen and Jon have been blessed with their first baby (second, if you count their fur-child, Cleo!) and our family couldn’t be happier for them. They are, and will be, the perfect parents.
Teen and Jon drove an hour and a half through torrential rain to meet my mother and I at the ferry terminal. With Teen ready to pop at any moment, we couldn’t reschedule for better weather. But with all smiles and laughter (mostly at my expense, for being seasick on the ferry) we drove through the rain to VIU, our first location. The campus was beautiful! It was full of great architecture and immediately the creative cogs in my head were turning.
Teen and Jon met at VIU, and the campus held some special locations for them both. This included a big set of stairs where they would sit and people watch. We had a lot of fun in the library finding hilarious book titles and posing in the stacks (even though we weren’t supposed to be taking photos in there, shh!!!) Teen and Jon both majored in Geography, so of course we took some photos with an Atlas, and a globe!
We had a lot of fun on our little day trip, and it was great to visit with our cousins. I was so happy to see Teen before she had her baby, and be able to be part of their new blessing!
(I think it’s a girl)
Congratulations Kristine & Jon!
